• best way to set to deal with feedback is to set expectations on the type of feedback you need. Make sure you can backup your design choices by solid user data. 
• I set expectations for what kind of feedback I'm looking for at the beginning of the meeting. If there are opinions that are raised about UI decisions, I give my reasoning.
• I pivot the conversation back to the agenda or intent of the meeting.
• Usually they have already seen lo to mid fi designs prior to the final design handoff, so there's less UI feedback at that point.

He is a musician. Not all artist is like him, but he is always teed up and listening to something with his headphones. Once he was accused of copyright infringement, he's been showing his long face. Birds of a feather flock together, he has so many musician friends, and they came over and tried to keep his depression down getting roasted each other like usual, but failed. His dark energy ended up running them ragged. He's gone back on his word, and strated drinking again. One day a snippets of sounds that ceramic plates make scratching each other inspired his musical brain. Since then he began to work on his music and he's sure it's gonna be something. Let's see how it plays out.

- keep somethign down 이 토하지 않고 음식물을 먹다라는 뜻도 있다 ... she couldn't keep anything down.

When I was hired for a part time instructor at the school, through a lens of professional, everyone in the class sucked. I tried hard to suppress the rising derision inside of me, and supported daunted students. And then a short while after I quit the job. It wasn't challenging at all and my passion blew over. Fast forward to this January, I got back to the teaching job, and students here are very avid, and none of them look daunted, if anything, my knowledge was obsolete. I was confused and while I was walking down to the office, I tripped over a pile of books. I gave it a clout and the books spread out everywhere. I need some time for a turnaround.

clout 은 손으로 때리다, 물건으로 치다 이런 의미가 있어서 영향력이라는 의미까지 확장된다.

We planned to test out our new product. Evenryone seemed eager at first but the enthusiasm fizzled out. Because we all been slacking out now. I was pressured and brought out this new popular method of Silicone valley companies. A while later, I could clearly see it's an epic fail. Although I know failures are byproduct of the whole process. This gave me a clear idea of that we shouldn't go after an "one size fits all" solution. It took too long for me to latch on.

one size fits all 은 There's no "onc size fits all" checklist for ~ 이런식으로 주로 사용된다. 

slack off 는 to work less hard or to be less than usual 이라는 뜻으로, 게으름을 피우다는 뜻으로 번역되곤 하지만 사실 꼭 게으르다기 보다는 평소보다 좀 느슨하게 한다는 뜻으로 기억하는는 것이 좋다. slacker 라는 명사는 게으름 부리는 사람이라고도 쓰인다. 

latch 는 걸쇠, 걸쇠를 걸어잠그다 라는 뜻이 있다. 근데 latch on 은 달라붙다(attach) 라는 의미도 있으며 (단 주로 상대는 이를 원하지 않는 경우), begin to understand 의 의미도 있다. latch onto 도 비슷한데 추가로 흥미를 보이다는 뜻도 가질 수 있게된다. 

go after 은 물리적으로 뭔가를 잡기위해 쫒는다고도 쓸 수 있고 목표나 형체가 없는 것도 비유적으로 사용할 수 있다.
