It was ballsy of her to solicit some support from the governers. Waiting for the result was such a nail-biter for everyone around her. In the reply, they said it was a good try and they want to go into a routine receiving her reports with the supplement for 6months. The subtext is they're willing to back her up for 6 months, and it was the best scenario! Much to her delight, she danced until her mom cried "That'll do!" The governers, her sponsors now, catered to her collage tuition and everything she needed for education. She sent them monthly reports with gratitude, and for every single report letter, a pat on the back followed. They want to hire her after she finishes her education, and it is for sure a fruitful relationship with advantages for both sides. Her brother Josh was not the sharpest tool in the shed. But watching all this happeing, it became a motivation for him. He fell in to a routine studying hard and not to go off track. Although he didn't get any sponsorship, he didn't take offense at it and didn't think it bogged him down.

Go figure! I'm faced with a layoff. The company fired 5% of their employees and I'm one of them! I just wanna blame my boss and every C level who are incompetent. They know they're safe from this situation since they're the ones who have the upperhand. Our sales drastically plummeted and the rank-and-file people sort of read the current air of the environment, it's been very tense although nobody explicitly talked about it. They today, announced that they'll gonna cut down on their employment 5% and they expect to maintain their growth by doing this, and that's a hot take. Then they had to prune some higher-ups who don't do work properly, they take a lot more salary than the others. Those are the real problems and the morale of the teams has been dissipating because of this but they turn a blind eye. They will be going down the tubes, in nine cases out of ten. It really burned me up that they made this call but I have no power. I'm now taking my belongings and mischllaneous in the office. Frustration is in the air and I'm seeing the mountain peaks covered with snow out side of window taking a deep breath. There's no way they're gonna be panning out with this sense of ethic and responsibility.

It was a very dark night. The road was quiet and we were traipsing around Mcdonald's. In honor of our night in the city, we had a small party at Amy's and on the way home we got nugets and just were hanging around becuase we didn't want to call it a night. It was a little shy of midnight. He started to run to the near stream and told me to wish on stars. Suddenly a car slided sideways and it hit him and disappeared. That was my first witness of hit-and-run. I was so shocked and ran to him to check him first. He seemed to break his legs. We couldn't find the hit and run driver and he's been in wheelchair since then. Now he wollowed in self-pity. The ambitious Tom has gone. He tells me to shove off when I visit him every time. His specialist said he needs at least 72 treatments to be recovered. Arithmetic is not my forte, but I know he probably can't afford it. What he trots out as an excuse is only his depression. If I pointed out the actual reason he would feel mortified, so it's nothing to speak of. I did never wish this disaster on him.

Since I got the offer from that company, I'm feeling pulled in both directions. Because I know there's another chance later this month. Which opportunity should I take and should I pass up? Each job has compelling sides. The first one, I already got the offer. I'm afraid I might be complacent. I'll be learning so much from the leader directly, although it'll take some time to be able to be fend for myself. One thing I can be sure is this has nothing on other potential opportunities I could get in the future, but they're elusive and I can't be sure for now. And horrible work life balance is detrimental to my mental health, so I shouldn't put it on the back burner to take care of it. Just your pinnacle is coming. Just find a team that value growth and solidarity, don't overwhelmed, and don't let the chance underwhelm you. It's okay to make mistakes, you can live them down. If you need my hand, you can get hold of me. Don't be short with people though. Some might garner attention and some may not.

There are people who have to get the upperhand no matter what. And they're usually a control freak, and very off putting. They think their job is to dress people down and never earn their keep. For the trip to Paris, I had to take grit to be off to the races. This was indeed an exciting opportunity, but I knew I had to be Jack during the trip. I just hated him so much, whenever he brought out topics such as French rich lineage that he thought was interesting, I tried to simmer down myself and responded well as I could get. Somehow during the trip, some raport accured, I don't know what conjured it though, I caught myself limbering up with him in the morning until we went back to Tokyo. He's much better than people who want to retaliate all the time

My head is really messed up now. This is coming from uncertainty. This state of my mind impedes everything I'm trying to do right now. I was so stressed and I dimmed the light of my room. I'm in turbulent. I'm waiting for two emails, and the only notifications I get is unsolicited ads. My mentor asked me how things were going and I said it was nothing to write home about If i was summing it up. He told me to make sure send them another email reminder for good measure. And I took heart from the conversation with him a lot. Thinking of being ghosted by them really riles me up. My heart keeps plummeting everytime I hear notification sounds. This calls some bad memorise to mind. There was nothing insurmountable so far, I know this will shall pass. I shouldn't die hard. If i need to search another opportunity, I'm on deck. When I ran out of money, I can take out my nest egg and portion it out for rainy days.

At first I was grateful that I was hired by a foreign company. But because of the language issue, they talk down to me and I feel very stretched. Everyday is exhausting! Today I realised a client moved the goalposts about the contract. I was 100% in charge of this project and I tried to fix it since it was as plain as the nose on my face that they are taking advantage of my bad language skill. When my boss heard this he was beyond angry, he shouted at the top of his lung. I was really shaken up by that and just sat through the meeting holding back tears. I think I need to find a way to mitigate this problems that I keep creating. Now I'm preparing a lot of visual aids that could serve as a buffer for possible miscommunication. Although I'm only taking on subordinate projects, It's time to consolidate myself as a competent team member who pulls at least my own weight. I need to speak up when I detect partial decisions and take sides of people who genuinely care about the work.

A new hire collapsed at work by accumulated fatigue caused by constant overwork. I'm pretty sure this case gave all of us a chance to look back what we're doing. While chasing down leads, we couldn't take care of our employees and coworkers and their mental health. This led to the labor dispute. Human beings should be put first than anything else. Some employers were certainly living out their ambitions through employees thinking it's smooth-sailing. Many revoked their contract after this incident, and companies had to subcontract work to freelancers. Yet freelancers were not accustomed to company work, majority of them had to be learing the ropes in the end and now employers are realising they end up spending more. In this company, a whole design team quit and no one else could execute the sama level of work tonally afterwards. They're certainly savouring the sin, after they set themsleves up by finding people trivial. The taint of this kind wouldn't go away for a long time.
