Our lives seem like a line, but it's more like an ouroboros. When you get to some point you feel you figured everything out, you'll get lost again. For the last few years, this keeps happening and I don't trust the feeling of "settled" anymore. The economy is in turmoil. I didn't think it would affect me this hard. It causes layoffs, hiring freezes, and the online communities are lousy with the jobless. There's more frictions between people, since a lot of things are on their minds. I lost my job. On top of that, my rent increased. I questioned the intention of the landlord, he firmly stood his ground about the increase. He was always nice to me, thought I got his number, but i didn't. This difficult times unveiled everything in the raw. I just don't want to show the worst side of me, I clam up the whole time when they talk about news. Life is like an ourobpros. I read my old journals, when I was feeling ten feet tall with my success. It's good to rub up on the feelings, it gives me some hopes.
