There was a parenting test in the show! The couples are responsible for taking care of the allocated baby dolls for a few hours. Although those were just dolls, it seemed very challenging. They had to hold baby with one hand fumbling in the diaper bag for supplies with the other hand. They called each other a deadbeat mom/dad. On a side note it wasn't a derogatory comment in the context. Girls were on a mission to escape from their duty, they cooked up excuses like "I feel crusty, I need to redo my makeup", "My tops zipper is broken, I just can't seem to catch a break today!" or "I need to check my toiletries bag" and gathered at the patio. They were a cohesive team. Boys didn't know girls have an ax to grind with them! They can hardly find out who is iffy or who is nice only with this test since it wasn't dire at all, that was just for fun and every participant had a ball. Just a lot of fun nitpicking and jokes. If it was real, they might need to answer for their misbehaves.
